Great Yarmouth Part Two

Posted by on Sep 13, 2016 in Photography, Travel, UK Landmarks and Visitor Sights

4.00pm and the beach at Great Yarmouth is fairly deserted. It’s a large expanse of sand and really quite inviting considering that it looks out into the North Sea.

Saucy sea-side UK traditions die hard – especially the idea of a cartoon-style fat woman in a bathing suit…. mind you this is less of a gag here in the Uk considering every 2nd person on the sea-front is morbidly obese.

Cod and chips a very reasonable £3.80…… & probably better for you than a kebab or beef burger.

More beach hire… but with a hip hop theme.

I wonder where it goes

Maybe they failed their A-levels……

The very end of Britannia Pier has that faded driftwood feel.

Marine Parade Great Yarmouth

Personally i think the beach is better to stroll on than Marine Parade which seems to home more than its fair share of amusement arcades with very little amusement to be had.

A last look back at the beach ….. it’s been about 27 Deg today and the night air is still warm enough for a tee-shirt and shorts. There should really be more people on the beach enjoying the night air.
